A NEW SMALL GROUP

Led by Rev. Cynthia, this group will explore, contemplate, and put into action the themes of love and surrender as the heart of Christian spirituality. Today, we are quite resistant to surrendering to power or authority outside of ourselves. However, God, the epitome of goodness and love, invites us to enter into an authentic relationship of intimacy and devotion that is beyond obedience to surrendering to love. Through examination of Scripture and reflection on the Christian Tradition, we are invited to discern how God is leading us to an unexpected place where yielding to God frees us to become who we are to be. We will use Dr. David Brenner’s trilogy: 1) Surrender To Love, 2) The Gift of Being Yourself, and 3) Desiring God’s Will as our texts; $30 for all three. Email Cynthia here with questions, to sign up, and to place your book order.
