History

Parent's Day Out started out 40 years ago as an outreach program of First United Methodist Church. The goal was to provide a safe and nurturing place where parents could feel good about leaving their children for a few hours while they kept appointments, shopped, or just had some time alone. Presently Parent's Day Out continues to provide a valuable service to the community, by providing excellent child care on a part-time basis, allowing parents a few hours off time, up to a few times a week, to leave their child in an environment where they can grow in mind and body.

Ages

Parent's Day Out offers Fort Collins daycare for families looking for drop-in or part-time child care. We serve children ages 1 and fully walking through 6 years of age. Children are placed in age-appropriate classrooms staffed with caring teachers.

Hours

Parent's Day Out’s school year currently runs the day after Labor Day to Memorial Day weekend, and follows the Poudre Valley school district calendar for days off, holiday breaks, and closures due to inclement weather.

For age 1 and fully walking:
Tuesday 9 am–1 pm
Thursday 9 am–1 pm
Friday 9 am-1 pm

For age 2:
Tuesday 9 am–1 pm
Thursday 9 am–1 pm
Friday 9 am–1 pm

For ages 3-5:
Tuesday 9 am–1 pm
Thursday 9 am–1 pm
Friday 9 am–1 pm

If your child is staying past noon please bring a sack lunch.
