Kids' Closet Recognized by City of Fort Collins

Kids' Closet was nominated for the 2024 City of Fort Collins Human Relations Award that recognizes organizations and individuals that promote social justice, equity and inclusion. We did not win the award but were honored at a lovely reception at City Hall in December. 

Thank you, First Church and community for your support of the Kids' Closet in 2024. The closet experienced 7700 kid visits! Eighty two volunteers powered our work by donating 2800 hours of their time. Thank you for your generosity supporting our two Undie Sundays that brought in enough support for two months of our annual budget. It is humbling to lead this project knowing that the First Church family is dedicated to serve all children in this era of unprecedented migration.
